Helpful Abstraction using Minimum Spanning Trees for Expression Relations (Plus)

Welcome to HAMSTER+ ! HAMSTER+ allows users to examine the experiments of their microarray data as a set of minimum spanning trees.

Data sets should be formatted as Simple Omnibus Format in Text (SOFT) files, as used by the NCBI Gene Expression Omnibus. Generally, other (non-microarray) data sets are supported if they are provided in tab-separated text format. In the system, replace "experiments" with "samples" and "genes" with "features". For the tab-separated format, the samples should form the columns of the data table.

To download the local version for use on your computer, click on HAMSTER in the left menu.

Step 1 of 5: Select data source

The first step is to upload your data by completing the form below. A data file can be at most 25 MB.

Select method of data upload:
Local GDS:
GDS FTP from NCBI: GDS.soft.gz
(Downloading times from NCBI will vary; please be patient.)
